If the Cincinnati Bengals do the expected and draft Joe Burrow, these are the players they should target to pair with him.

With the opening of the draft less than three weeks away, the chances that the Cincinnati Bengals select top quarterback prospect Joe Burrow remain as high as ever. Thankfully, when the cigar-smoking signal-caller enters the league, he’ll have plenty of weapons at his disposal to ease his transition. Joe Mixon, A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd, Auden Tate, and John Ross are an outstanding cast for the former LSU tiger.

The only problem is, after the 2020 season, the water begins to grow murky around the group. Green is only on a one-year franchise tag, and Mixon, along with Ross are set to have their contracts expire as well.

It’s likely the Bengals will retain most of their playmakers, but there can be no certainty. The front office would be wise to stock the cupboards through this draft for a number of reasons.
