By now, you’ve seen nearly every possible explanation as to why Joe Burrow should be the pick for the Bengals. Heisman Trophy winner, national champion, 60 touchdown passes, 76% completion rate, arguably the greatest single-season for a college quarterback. The list of accolades and accomplishments goes on and on.

In a recent sitdown on “The Big Podcast with Shaq” Burrow sent a message that likely resounded with both Bengals decision-makers and his future teammates.

"“I’ve won everywhere that I’ve been. I’ve never had a losing season in sports from the moment I was 5 years old. I’m not a loser. I just want to go somewhere where I can win. Teams are picking at the top for a reason. And I feel like, like I said before, I’ve won everywhere that I’ve ever been. I feel like if anybody can do it, I can do it.”"

Burrow took a formerly under-achieving LSU cast, led them through the SEC gauntlet, and came out as a national champion. He’s never been a loser and it’s doubtful he’ll expect anything to change on that front once he arrives in Cincinnati. It’s a no-brainer. The Bengals should pull Burrow out of the bayou and bring him home.
