They will draft a wide receiver in the first four rounds

Wide receiver is a sneaky need for the Bengals in the draft. While they have A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd, John Ross, and Auden Tate, they have to consider both injuries and contracts that will be ending next offseason.

The good thing for them is that this is the best wide receiver class in years, possibly in the history of the draft. Teams will be able to find receivers with first-round talent in the third round, and receivers with day two talent on day three.

Receivers the Bengals could consider in the second round are Jalen Reagor, Tee Higgins, and Denzel Mims. Reagor is a speedster who could split time with Ross. Higgins is an A.J. Green clone who could be the heir apparent at the WR1 spot. Mims is a big, athletic, walking highlight reel who could immediately be the team’s WR2 and eventually be WR1 when Green leaves or retires.

In the third and fourth rounds, the Bengals have a lot of names to consider. Michael Pittman Jr. and Brandon Aiyuk would be steals with the 65th pick. At the 107th pick, Bryan Edwards, Devin Duvernay, and Isaiah Hodgins are intriguing players to think about.

With Joe Burrow coming to Cincinnati, the front office will want to surround him with as many weapons as possible. Expect the Bengals to do that somewhere in the second and fourth rounds.
