Entering the week of the 2020 draft, five of our writers run through a 7-round mock draft for the Cincinnati Bengals.

The time has finally come. After months and months of speculation, rumors, and reports, the week of the 2020 NFL draft has descended upon the football world. At the very center of it all are the Cincinnati Bengals, wielding the first overall pick and the potential to turn the fortunes of their franchise around.

The Bengals enter the event in a better position than they are accustomed to, thanks to an uncharacteristic free agency period. The team found numerous players on the open market that are expected to turn the tide of a recently underachieving defense.

Despite the spending spree in March, the roster still has position groups that need bolstering. Chief among them are the offensive line and linebacker units.

Director of player personnel Duke Tobin and the rest of his front office will look to fill these voids while also adding the most talented player available. It’ll be a fine line to walk but historically, the team has done better than most organizations in the league.

There will be a lot on the line and the outcome of this draft will play a heavy role in determining the success of the Bengals in both the short and long term. We’ve gathered 7-round mock drafts from five of our writers to see how they believe the team can best attack the event.
