With a wave of new players set to don stripes for the first time, there figure to be intense training camp battles for the Cincinnati Bengals.

No position group went untouched in the Cincinnati Bengals’ roster overhaul. In an attempt to turn the page on a string of disappointing seasons, the front office brought in a plethora of new players, setting up for some of the most heated training camp battles the orange and black faithful have ever seen.

Whether it be a long-time veteran vs. a rookie, a tenured member vs. a free-agent addition, or an established starter against an undrafted player, the fight to crack the starting lineup will be intense.

If Zac Taylor’s first year at the helm was any indication, the best man for the job will truly win out as well. Just last season, he opted to keep undrafted free-agent Damion Willis on the initial 53-man roster and favored Trey Hopkins at center over former first-rounder Billy Price. (a move that paid off in a big way).

Training camp is currently slated to begin in late July. With just a few weeks to go until football is back, here are the three Cincinnati Bengals training camp battles that fans should watch for.
