Cincinnati Bengals training camp battles: John Ross vs. Tee Higgins

The battle between John Ross and Tee Higgins impacts many more players outside the two of them. In fact, the entire future of the wide receiver room could depend on how the contest between this duo shakes out.

Ross, entering the last year of his rookie contract, will get his last chance to live up to his draft billing in stripes. If the speedy wideout expands on the flashes he’s shown, he could solidify himself as a star and give the Bengals no other choice but to keep him in orange and black.

Higgins, on the other hand, is just beginning his foray into the NFL. He has heavy expectations placed on his shoulders but is more than capable to live up to them.
