3 available defensive tackles the Bengals could sign to replace Josh Tupou

Josh Tupou fill-in candidates for the Bengals: Damon Harrison
The next option for the Bengals is Damon “Snacks” Harrison. Like Daniels, Harrison spent his 2019 season with the Lions, where he had an overall PFF grade of 63.2. Harrison was released by the Lions at the end of the 2019 season.
Harrison would bring veteran leadership to a line that already has a lot of it in Atkins and Carlos Dunlap. On the field, he could fit in perfectly where Tupou regularly played in 2019.
The veteran nose tackle has only had 11 sacks in his 8 NFL seasons, so he may not bring much in terms of rushing the quarterback. However, at 6’3, 353 pounds, Snacks is a huge player who could be a valuable asset against the run. Along with an elite nose tackle in Reader, the two could come together to give the Bengals one of the best running games in the league.
If the Bengals’ priority is to strengthen their run defense, Harrison could be the perfect veteran addition to the defense. If they want someone who can do a little bit of both, he may not be the right guy for the job.
