As the Cincinnati Bengals enter a new era and welcome many new faces, there is plenty of reason for optimism to surround the franchise.

The beginning of the season is an exciting time for any sports franchise. It includes the moments when hopes are high for every team, regardless of what realistic expectations might be. New players on the roster are given the benefit of the doubt and every rookie has a chance to breakthrough.

The start of a new NFL season is no different, and every fan has the opportunity to imagine what it would be like for their team to win the division, make a postseason run, or maybe even bring a Lombardi Trophy home.

The Cincinnati Bengals will start 2020 with more hope than in previous years. The selection of Joe Burrow and revamping of the defense has many fans excited. There is enthusiasm from players, coaches, and executives about what this season could look like for the Bengals as well.

While Zac Taylor’s squad may not be expected to win the AFC North or compete for a Super Bowl by national pundits, now is the time to throw caution to the wind and imagine a season where things go right.
