With hype around the 2020 season building, there are five games that stand out as the most exciting on the Cincinnati Bengals’ schedule.

The Bengals had their worst season in recent memory in 2019, finishing with a 2-14 record in Zac Taylor’s first year as head coach. While it was a painful season for fans to experience in the moment, the payoff was one of the most exciting offseasons in franchise history.

With the worst record in the league comes one of professional sport’s most valuable assets, the first overall pick in the NFL Draft. The Bengals used this pick to select Heisman winner Joe Burrow, a quarterback from LSU who had arguably the greatest season in college football history in 2019.

The excitement around bringing in a bright, young, franchise quarterback led the Bengals to do something they’re not known for doing: spending money in free agency. The Cincinnati front office spent big on defensive free agents like nose tackle D.J. Reader, cornerback Trae Waynes, and more.

After the most eventful offseason in Bengals’ history, excitement is mounting for the season to start. However, some games are more exciting than others, and five specific matchups on the schedule catch the eye as compelling.
