Joe Burrow has four second half showdowns against other young QBs

Mayfield threw for 297 yards and five TDs in the victory. The two former first overall draft picks should be competing against each other for the next decade. If the first two games Burrow and Mayfield shared the field are any indication some big numbers should be put up between the Bengals and Browns in the future.
The other two games the Bengals faced other young QBs in 2020 were against Jackson and the Ravens and Jacksonville and second-year QB Gardner Minshew. Burrow threw for 300 yards, one TD and one INT and ran four ties for 11 yards in a 33-25 victory over Jacksonville. Minshew threw for 351 with two TDs and one INT.
Joe Burrow struggled in his first meeting with Jackson against the Ravens. The 183 passing yards are a season-low and the Ravens and Chargers are the only teams to hold Burrow without a TD pass. Burrow ran three times for 10 yards in a 27-3 loss. It is the only time this season the Bengals were held without a TD.

The Bengals’ next game against a young QB will not be until they host the Giants on November 29 in a game they will be favored. Daniel Jones was the sixth pick of the 2019 NFL Draft. After a good rookie season, Jones has struggled in 2020. Jones has completed 62.4 percent of his passes for 1,878 yards, eight TDs and nine Ints.
Jones is a dangerous runner. With 320 yards rushing in nine games, Jones has eclipsed his total of 279 from last season. The second-year QB is running more often with 40 carries through nine games compared to 45 carries in 13 games in 2019. Burrow and Jones bring different styles that will be interesting to watch.
