Bengals free-agent targets: Wide receiver Will Fuller

Will Fuller would be the definition of a luxury signing for the Bengals but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t pursue it. Imaging the speedy wideout lined up next to Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd, and Joe Mixon with Joe Burrow (on a revenge tour) throwing to him is the kind of thing football fans dream of.

In all reality, Cincinnati doesn’t need Fuller. All of their resources and attention should be focused on shoring up the offensive line, fixing the pass rush, and establishing the future of the secondary. However, their resources are projecting to be plentiful this offseason. If they find themselves with enough breathing room to pull off this move, they should absolutely do it.

The 4.32 speed that Willer possesses brings a unique skillset not currently present in the Bengals’ wide receiver corps. His deep-threat ability is the kind of thing that will keep opposing defensive coordinators up at night wondering how they’ll account for his presence along with the crisp route running of Boyd in the slot and the catch radius of Higgins on the outside.

It’s a tantalizing thought and the mere possibility of it should have WhoDey nation pounding the table for the front office to pull the trigger on the move. The addition of Fuller would truly give the Bengals one of the most exciting offenses in all of football.
