The Cincinnati Bengals did a nice job of addressing depth in the 2021 NFL Draft but there are still positions needing some fine-tuning. With several talented free agents still waiting to find homes for the 2021 season, the Bengals have a chance to upgrade their roster this late into the offseason.

Here are five free agents who could immediately help the Bengals tremendously.

Free Agents Bengals Should Sign – No. 5: Trai Turner

With so much unknown about the state of the Bengals’ offensive line, adding reliable depth makes perfect sense for the team. Trai Turner is somehow still a free agent after having spent last year with the Chargers. Prior to that, he played for six seasons in Carolina.

Turner has predominantly played right guard throughout his career and that’s the main position on the offensive line that needs some help. Quinton Spain projects as the starter there and while the Bengals have plenty of depth, Turner would be a great veteran piece to throw into this line.

Protecting Joe Burrow is the most important thing for the Bengals this year and if they can do that, they should be competitive in 2021. Turner could help toward ensuring Burrow stays upright, so he’s definitely worth a look in free agency.
