The Cincinnati Bengals have some incredibly tough wide receivers on their 2021 schedule. This is to be expected considering how difficult their schedule is as a whole and with a new group of cornerbacks taking over in the Bengals secondary, limiting these receivers won’t be easy.

Let’s check out who the four toughest receivers are on Cincinnati’s schedule.

Toughest WRs on Cincinnati Bengals 2021 Schedule – No. 4: Justin Jefferson

The Bengals will at least get Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson out of the way, as they’ll host Jefferson and his Vikings squad in Week 1 for the season opener. Not only is Jefferson a terrifying threat at the receiver position, but the Vikings also have Adam Thielen and he’ll be tough to limit as well. The Bengals will certainly have their hands full trying to stop these two guys.

Let’s get back to Jefferson though. He used to catch passes from Joe Burrow at LSU and has continued to speak highly of Burrow, which isn’t shocking considering what kind of damage the two did together in Baton Rouge.

Jefferson had a strong case to win Offensive Rookie of the Year last year after hauling in 88 receptions for 1,400 yards and seven touchdowns. He was dynamic, that’s for sure and it’s not going to be fun trying to slow him down. His best game saw him put up 166 yards and two touchdowns against the Falcons in Week 6.

Trae Waynes, Chidobe Awuzie, and Mike Hilton will have quite the task in their first games with the Bengals in trying to prevent Jefferson and Thielen from having a massive day.
