Toughest WRs on Cincinnati Bengals 2021 Schedule – No. 1: Davante Adams

It was tough choosing between Tyreek Hill and Davante Adams for the No. 1 spot, but ultimately, I went with Adams. This, of course, could change depending on the Aaron Rodgers situation, as Adams won’t be as feared if his MVP quarterback gets the change of scenery he desires so much. But for now, we’ll pretend that Rodgers is staying in Green Bay and Adams is the same feared receiver.

Adams was a monster last year, totaling a crazy 115 receptions for 1,374 yards and 18 touchdowns during his 14 starts. The former second-round pick out of Fresno State has exploded onto the scene in recent years and is definitely the wide receiver that Bengals fans are least looking forward to seeing their team square off against.

Adams had three really incredible games last season so picking between them was tough. Ultimately, the best game on his 2020 resumé had to be when he tallied 11 catches for 142 yards and three touchdowns in Week 16 against the Titans. That performance was absurd.

It is not going to be easy to contain Adams when he and the Pack come to Paul Brown Stadium in Week 5. Maybe if Rodgers gets traded though, Adams won’t be the same kind of player and this game will look a lot less daunting.

Either way, these four receivers are the toughest on the Bengals’ schedule this year and it’s going to be challenging to prevent them from having big games.
