The injury bug has hit the Cincinnati Bengals before training camp has even kicked off, as offensive lineman Hakeem Adeniji could miss the entire season after injuring his pectoral muscle.

The loss of Adeniji doesn’t necessarily affect the Bengals’ starting offensive line but they lost one of their best depth pieces, which is a huge blow for this team. The Bengals’ offensive line is going to have a lot of eyeballs on it this year after what happened last season and for good reason.

Adeniji appeared in 15 games a season ago and started five of those. The 2020 sixth-round pick out of Kansas is a fan favorite and some have even pushed for him to be a starter after the performance he had as a rookie. Now there won’t be a chance for that to happen, as it’s going to take several months for Adeniji to recover from his surgery.

With the loss of Adeniji for what could be the entire season, the Bengals need to sign another offensive lineman. At this point, there are still some really good names out there in free agency and while the Bengals seemingly have their starting o-line put together, they should still look into bringing in the best names available.

Let’s take a look at four options the Bengals could sign for their offensive line.
