There are still plenty of free agents available who could step in and immediately contribute for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2021. They have a need along their offensive line, at the linebacker position, and in their pass rush and free agency is the best place to turn to now to address those weaknesses on the roster.

If the Bengals were to turn to free agency and add some players to their roster ahead of the 2021 season, these three players could come in and immediately pack a punch for this team.

Free Agents Who Could Start for Cincinnati Bengals – No. 3: Jurrell Casey

The 2020 season wasn’t Jurrell Casey‘s best but in 2019, he was still playing well in what ended up being his final year with the Titans. During that season, Casey totaled 44 tackles and five sacks while recording 10 quarterback hits.

After spending the first nine years of his career with the Titans, Casey tried to start anew in Denver and it didn’t go according to plan. He played in just three games before suffering a bicep injury that sidelined him for the rest of the year.

Assuming Casey is indeed healthy and good to go, the Bengals could really use him on their defense and they were listed as ‘the best fit’ for him in 2021. Had Casey been healthy and on the Bengals last year, he’d have finished the season as second in sacks for the team, trailing only Carl Lawson, who had 5.5.

Casey might not be the same guy he was two years ago but if the Bengals signed him, he could make a difference on their defense.
