Cincinnati Bengals who need a great camp – No. 1: Joe Burrow

Well this is an obvious one, isn’t it?

Joe Burrow would have probably been No. 1 on this list even if he wasn’t coming off an injury simply because of his position. Quarterback is the most important position in football and the Bengals are fortunate to have him as the hopeful savior of the franchise.

Burrow was on track for a promising rookie campaign until an injury sidelined him for the duration of his rookie season. Burrow had surgery over the offseason and has been cleared to play Week 1, which is music to Bengals fans’ ears.

All of that being said, will Burrow be the same guy we saw in the stripes last year? Will he be the same quarterback who tore it up for the LSU Tigers in 2019 and won the Heisman Trophy that year? Is Burrow going to be full-strength?

These are all questions to be asking with Burrow even though fans are ecstatic to have him back. Everyone will be watching Burrow closely throughout camp to see how he looks upon return from injury. Is he throwing the ball well? Does he look to have lost a step at all? Is there anything different from his game than what we saw a year ago?

Rightfully, Joe Burrow is the guy Bengals fans want to have the best possible training camp. A poor one wouldn’t lose him his job by any means but it’d definitely make Cincinnati a little more anxious entering the 2021 season.

Who else needs to have a good training camp?
