Staying in the division, the Bengals proved last year that they could compete against the Steelers and Browns. Unfortunately, Cincinnati still couldn’t close the gap against the Ravens, who completely curb-stomped them last year in both games.

Neither game was close, as the Ravens thumped the Bengals by a combined score of 65-22 through their two games and it showed just how far ahead of the game the Ravens are. All of that being said, 2021 is a new year and it’s time for the Bengals to show that they’re not the cakewalk that Ravens fans think they are.

The first crack Cincinnati gets at the Ravens is in Week 8 of the regular season and unfortunately, it’ll come in Baltimore. The Ravens will probably sweep the Bengals yet again this year but the important thing in both matchups this year is for Cincinnati to at least show they can compete against them.

Losing 27-12 or 38-10 or in any sort of blowout can’t happen again this year. If the Bengals get blown out in Week 8, it could set them up for another embarrassing series against their hated foe. No one wants to go through that again in 2021.
