The Cincinnati Bengals kicked off training camp and there was plenty to take away from the first official day of camp.

From players landing on the PUP to others advocating for their teammates to get paid to all of the Joe Burrow content you could hope for, we compiled all of the factoids from the first day of training camp. Let’s get started, shall we?

Larry Ogunjobi suffered a hamstring injury

Bengals fans were in full-on panic mode when the team announced that Larry Ogunjobi was being moved to the PUP. There wasn’t much information given when this news was first announced but Zac Taylor was asked about it at his press conference and said that Ogunjobi had suffered a hamstring injury the day before.

The good news here is that Taylor said he didn’t think it was a long-term thing. The bad news is that an injury is an injury and the Bengals are no stranger to those.

Ogunjobi looks to be a huge part of the Bengals’ defensive front this year so losing him would be a devastating blow. Hopefully, it’s a quick situation and Ogunjobi is able to take the field at full strength.
