Bengals newcomers projected to be starters – No. 5: Ja’Marr Chase

Now we’re getting into the newcomers who aren’t really fighting for a starting job. At this point, the rankings aren’t as important because more than likely, the rest of the guys on this list are going to start.

Ja’Marr Chase was the Bengals’ first-round pick and they passed on the best offensive lineman in the draft to reunite him with college quarterback, Joe Burrow. Chase and Burrow were electric during the 2019 college football season and Bengals fans can’t wait to see them return to that form again this year.

Chase is the lowest out of the remaining five players here though because of his competition at wide receiver. While Chase will likely be Burrow’s go-to guy, there’s still Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins to compete for targets with.

Chase will start, there’s no doubt about that, but there’s also no doubt that the rest of these players will start too and since Chase is a rookie, he sits here on the list.
