Ja’Marr Chase (and the Cincinnati Bengals offense) could use a solid outing in the last practice game

There was a lot of finger-pointing directed toward Ja’Marr Chase at the end of the game against the Washington Football Team. No catches and several drops were concerning for a team that is relying on Chase to make this one of the best offenses in the league.

Chase could use a drive or two to show that he is able to catch the ball. Hopefully, it was just nerves from being out of football for a year and being a little timid, but if this continues Chase may see his playing time drop. The Bengals have already had issues with a top 10 draft pick who could not be relied on and they let John Ross walk this year.

Outside of Chase the offense as a whole will need to show more promise. While the pass protection has been good, the offense has not been able to drive down the field consistently when the first-string players are in.

One of the biggest things I will be looking for in this game is to see the Bengals put together a solid drive or two as a first-team unit.
