The Cincinnati Bengals‘ preseason has come to a close and now it’s time for the team to make the difficult decisions as to who stays on the roster, who goes to the practice squad, and who is sent searching for another team.

These six players entered training camp on the roster bubble and have shown the Bengals everything they needed to see. As a result, fans have their fingers crossed that these six players will find their way onto the final roster in some capacity.

Bubble Players Who Should Make Bengals Roster

6. Trayvon Henderson

Safety Trayvon Henderson is entering year three with the Bengals and to this point, a practice squad spot looked like it’d be in his near future. After a nice preseason, however — especially against the Dolphins —  not putting Henderson on the final roster would be a mistake.

The safety out of Hawaii had two tremendous plays on Sunday, notching a tackle for loss while also picking off the Dolphins quarterback. He did this after coming into the game for an injured Brandon Wilson and as Charlie Goldsmith noted, he was a part of the two best plays from the defense, at least at the time of when the tweet was sent.

Henderson has appeared in eight games during his two years in Cincinnati and he’s not a superstar by any means, but he’s a depth piece that knows this system well. He deserves to make the final roster.
