Bubble Players Who Should Make Bengals Roster

1. Darius Hodge

There might not have been a brighter star on the entire Bengals roster this summer than Darius Hodge. He’s been a freak of nature this offseason and has definitely proven that he is deserving of a spot on the roster.

Hodge finished the preseason finale with three tackles and one sack under his belt, putting on another show and once again proving what he can do if the Bengals give him a chance this season.  The linebackers need an explosive player and Hodge could absolutely fill that role.

It was especially important for Hodge to step up after third-round rookie Joseph Ossai went down with an injury. Hodge can slide into the pass-rushing threat role. He might not have made the team if it weren’t for Ossai’s injury but right now, all we can do is hope that the Marshall product lands on the roster when it’s all said and done.
