Cincinnati Bengals Roster – Tight Ends (3)

  • C.J. Uzomah
  • Drew Sample
  • Thaddeus Moss

Tight end has been a position that could use some fine-tuning but I feel pretty comfortable with this prediction. Uzomah and Sample are locks to make the team, as Uzomah has been a nice veteran presence for Cincinnati while Sample is a former second-round pick entering year three. The Bengals are hoping for big things from Sample this year.

That left one spot open for the remaining tight ends and I gave it to Moss. The Bengals brought Moss in this offseason due to his connection with Joe Burrow at LSU in 2019 but Moss had to prove that he could stand out on his own.

He did just that through three preseason games and outshone the likes of Mason Schreck and Mitchell Wilcox. Moss might have been given an opportunity based on what he did in Baton Rouge with Burrow but make no mistake — He earned this roster spot.
