Cincinnati Bengals Roster – Defensive Backs (10)

  • Chidobe Awuzie
  • Trae Waynes
  • Mike Hilton
  • Eli Apple
  • Darius Phillips
  • Jalen Davis
  • Jessie Bates
  • Vonn Bell
  • Ricardo Allen
  • Brandon Wilson

The Bengals spent money in free agency hoping to revamp their secondary and hopefully, that’ll end up paying off for them. The first six listed are cornerbacks and the other four are safeties, which is why Bates and Bell were lower on the list.

The obvious choices in this bunch were Awuzie, Waynes, Hilton, Bates, Bell, and Wilson but I feel pretty good about the other picks here. Apple didn’t do much this summer but he’s a veteran presence who has plenty of NFL experience, especially as a starter.

Davis played well this preseason and earned his spot on the roster. Allen is someone the team signed this offseason and he could be an underrated gem in this secondary.
