The Cincinnati Bengals feel good about the state of their offensive line but having solid depth never hurt anyone.

With roster cuts officially in the rearview mirror, the Bengals have decided what direction they’re headed in with their offensive line but there are still plenty of talented names out there for them to consider signing.

Here are three offensive linemen still waiting to sign with a team ahead of the 2021 season.

Offensive Linemen to Sign – No. 3: David DeCastro

While the offensive line has been discussed a lot this offseason, the two guard positions were definitely discussed the most. The Bengals cut Michael Jordan after it was clear he wasn’t a viable option moving forward and they look to be rolling with Quinton Spain at left guard and Xavier Su’a-Filo at right guard.

An intriguing player still out there waiting to be signed, however, is David DeCastro, formerly of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bengals fans are all too familiar with DeCastro due to his ties to Pittsburgh and while fans aren’t fond of the guy, it’s hard to argue that he’d fill a need for this team.

The problem here is that DeCastro is coming off an ankle injury and there was noise that this could be it for him as far as playing in the NFL goes. If DeCastro wants to continue playing and can prove he’s healthy enough to do so, he’d be able to slide in as the starter at right guard for Cincinnati should Su’a-Filo not perform well.
