1 and 2. Xavier Su’a-Filo, Quinton Spain

I decided to put both of these guys in the top two spots because all offseason long, we heard about the offensive guard positions and how the Bengals hadn’t done enough there.

After a long battle this summer, Quinton Spain and Xavier Su’a-Filo won the starting left guard and starting right guard jobs, joining Jonah Williams, Trey Hopkins, and Riley Reiff on the starting offensive line. Neither guy was great last year, with Su’a-Filo grading out at 59.1 and Spain with a 56.7 grade.

Spain re-signed with Cincinnati this offseason after appearing in nine games for them a season ago while Su’a-Filo appeared in six. These two are familiar with the organization and the offense, so it wasn’t a bad decision to have them as the starters.

It’s highly important for the Bengals to make sure Joe Burrow stays healthy this year and while these were probably the two best options on the team, it doesn’t mean fans won’t be cringing every time they look shaky against the Vikings’ defensive front.
