The Cincinnati Bengals recently went through the process of slimming down their official roster to 53 players and adding 15 players to the practice squad.

Roster cuts are a difficult part of the NFL. While some players will be added to practice squads or other team rosters, many more will see their NFL dreams come to an end.

Players added to a practice squad will have the opportunity to continue working with the team and develop under the coaching staff and mentorship of some of the more seasoned players. The Bengals recently went through this difficult process and were able to fill out 15 players to their practice squad.

While these players will not be expected to contribute daily, there are a few that could see their names called up this year. Whether based on current roster players not performing or injury the practice squad usually sees a few changes throughout the year.

This year will prove to be no different for the Cincinnati practice squad, especially with the level of talent in this group. It is a good sign to see the Bengals having to send some players to the practice squad because their starting and rotational depth is so deep.

These are the players I see as being most likely to make an impact this year for Cincinnati.
