The NFL season is just around the corner. For the Cincinnati Bengals, they kick off Sunday afternoon at 1:00 EST against the Minnesota Vikings. There’s plenty to look forward to in the season-opener.

We get to see Joe Burrow’s first real appearance back from his knee injury. Several new Bengals additions, such as Trey Hendrickson and Ja’Marr Chase, will make their debut against the Vikings.

How will the retooled offensive line look? Will Chidobe Awuzie live up to his offseason hype? Overall, there is a ton to look for in Cincinnati’s first regular-season game.

Currently, the Bengals are three-point underdogs against Minnesota. The Vikings have plenty of offensive weapons with Dalvin Cook, Justin Jefferson, and Adam Thielen. They also have some defensive talent with the likes of Danielle Hunter, Eric Kendricks, Patrick Peterson, and Harrison Smith.

Overall, Minnesota simply has a better roster with more impact players than the Bengals have right now, which explains why Cincinnati is an underdog.

To come out with a season-opening victory, the Bengals will need several players to play well for a variety of reasons. Who are the three Bengals that must step up Sunday versus the Vikings?
