Riley Reiff vs. Danielle Huner
This matchup is going to be equally important for both teams. The Vikings are looking forward to getting Danielle Hunter back off of injury. The last time we saw him, he was coming off back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons. In each of those seasons, he had 14.5 sacks.
Now he is extra motivated, as he is looking for a new contract. The most he could get was a modification of his current deal. He will be treating this year as a contract year.
Danielle Hunter gets $5.6M of this year’s $$ due as a signing bonus, source said. More importantly, there is now an $18M roster bonus the 5th day of the league year in 2022 — creating a decision for MIN. He’ll either make $20M or so next year, be released or have a new deal. https://t.co/qLJQbfms9G

How well will Riley Reiff hold up in pass protection against Hunter? Fingers crossed, he should hold up just fine.
Reiff was brought in to play right tackle and to sure some of the ails that plagued the pass protection. Hopefully, that is exactly what will happen.
According to PFF, he gave up one sack. The expectation is that he will have similar success with the Bengals. Sunday’s test against a motivated Hunter could set the tone for the entire season.
