3. Bengals start the year off with a win

This year there is some hope among Bengals fans. If Burrow can return to his pre-injury levels, the offense plays to their ceiling, and the defense takes a step forward this could be a surprisingly good team. Cincinnati starts the season off on the right foot and gets the win.

While the first half may be slow going, the offense should hit a grove and really take a step forward. Between Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd, Ja’Marr Chase, and Joe Mixon there is plenty of talent to trade shots with most teams in the NFL. The offensive line needs to improve to give these players time, but we will see minor improvements from that unit in this game.

With a defense that can slow down Dalvin Cook, the Bengals’ offense takes control and can put up enough points to win. Ja’Marr Chase has a few key catches and the other wide receivers get their share in a good all-around performance.

Even with losing the turnover battle, the Cincinnati offense is going to be too much for the Vikings.
