The Cincinnati Bengals are facing the Minnesota Vikings in their first game of the year. It’s also Ja’Marr Chase’s first NFL game and after a rocky preseason, Chase is making the most of his first game.

The Bengals needed to do something special ahead of the half and Chase helped them do just that, grabbing a 50-yard touchdown from his former college quarterback, Joe Burrow. The two looked like they were back at LSU again and the touchdown gave Cincinnati the lead.

After that tremendous touchdown reception, Chase has three receptions for 80 yards and is definitely showing that his performance in the preseason wasn’t anything to worry about. Fans were a bit worried about the rookie after watching him drop five passes through three preseason games.

Chase has shown that he’s the same guy he was at LSU and this touchdown was proof of that.

As the Bengals continue to battle the Vikings, it’s going to take several drives exactly like this one and Chase showed he’s up for the task. The rookie out of LSU hadn’t played in a football game that counts since early on in 2020 when he was suiting up for the Tigers in the National Championship game.
