Cincinnati Bengals fans must watch Alabama versus Florida.

Alabama (1) vs. Florida (11)

An SEC matchup between two top 15 teams! Of course, there is going to be NFL talent all over the field. As Bengals fans, from a scouting perspective, there are certain matchups worth concentrating on at specific positions.

Evan Neal vs. Jeremiah Moon (EDGE, OLB) / Zachary Carter (DE)

Evan Neal is continuing to make the transition to left tackle for the Crimson Tide. He held up well enough in their game against in their first two games this season. He will have a good test this week going against Jeremiah Moon and Zachary Carter.

Moon is looking to show NFL scouts that he should be on their radar. Zachary Carter is looking to increase his draft stock. He already has three sacks this year and 12.5 in his career. A good way for both of them to accomplish their would be to get the better of Neal a couple of times. That will not be an easy thing to do.

From the Bengals’ perspective, they will be looking at Neal to see how well he holds up this year at left tackle. The Bengals know they will be sticking with Jonah Williams at that spot. Some teams may already only see him as a guard. Going against competition on the level of Moon and Carter from the left side could push his stock up even higher. Neal is already highly ranked as one of the best prospects for the 2022 draft. He could even make a push for the first overall draft pick. That is if he can show up big against familiar and formidable competition.
