2. Attack the Bears Outside

The Bears were abused early and often by the Ram wideouts. I would argue, and correctly I might add, that the Bengal receivers are far superior to the Rams. Considering the success Joe Mixon had on the ground against the Vikings, the Bear defense will probably be creeping up in run support.

What happens then?

Well, you attack the corners charged with covering Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins outside! With limited help from the safeties, especially early on, Burrow should be able to find sufficient mismatches to make a splash play or two down the field.

Of course, certain things must happen. The line must protect, the tight ends and backs must do their job in pass protection, but if these things happen, Burrow could recreate that gorgeous deep ball he threw to Chase last week, to Chase again or Higgins. Both would be fine by me.

After years of watching Andy Dalton struggle with the deep ball, it’s incredibly exciting to see Joe Burrow hook up with his star wideouts.
