Can the Cincinnati Bengals offensive line show improvement, even facing one of the best units in the league?

One thing I will be watching closely for the Bengals is if the offensive line is able to hold up against the stellar Steelers pass rush. Cincinnati has seen their hopes for an improved offensive line decline the more football that has been played. Optimism in the preseason has now faded to concern as Burrow continues taking hit after hit. Against Pittsburgh, the offensive line will once again be put to the test.

Pittsburgh has one of the top defenses in the league and has made stopping opponents their calling card. Based on how the two teams have played, it would seem the Bengals’ offensive line is going to be overmatched throughout the matchup.

Zac Taylor will need to address this issue, but there does not seem to be a quick fix. The offensive line needs to hold up to keep Burrow from being the most sacked quarterback, but this is likely the biggest concern for the Bengals.

If Burrow stays upright and the offense can move the ball, this game could swing in the Bengals’ favor and a lot of that success depends on the offensive line holding up.
