Cincinnati Bengals Weekly MVPs

Defensive MVP: Logan Wilson

Logan Wilson is off to one of the best starts from a defensive player this season and not just for Cincinnati, either. He has been dominant from all phases and has finally started to get the recognition he deserves across the NFL slowly each week that goes by, which is awesome to see.

Wilson had 10 total tackles, four Solo Tackles, one sack, and one tackle for loss against the Jaguars and was one of the only bright spots in the front seven. James Robinson and Trevor Lawerence had plenty of success moving the ball on the ground but Wilson was one of the few players who truly popped on that side of the ball in what was an off night for the unit as a whole.

It wasn’t a pretty game for the defense, but having some key names out and only allowing seven points in the second half after being down 14-0 was a very critical bounce back for the defense. Logan Wilson is this week’s defensive MVP, and trust me, this won’t be the last time you hear his name for this. He’s been having the breakout season we were all hoping he’d have.
