The Cincinnati Bengals put together their first win streak under Joe Burrow as they defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday Night. While this was not the game that many expected, ultimately the Bengals did emerge victorious and improved their record to 3-1 on the season.

This game was a tale of two halves (we will get to that more in a moment) that saw Cincinnati trail by 14 and getting shut out in the first half, to being unstoppable and scoring on every possession in the second half.

Whatever adjustments and speech were made at halftime should be done to start the rest of the games to make sure the Bengals don’t dig themselves into a hole like that again. While it wasn’t always pretty, it got the job done.

The Bengals can now rest for an extended time before facing the Green Bay Packers while knowing that they will end the week on top of the AFC North. For a Cincinnati team that is looking at cracking the playoffs, starting the season off at 3-1 was important and will give the Bengals a little wiggle room moving forward.

Before getting too far ahead, however, it’s time to look at the winners and losers from the Jacksonville game.
