Cincinnati Bengals: 3 best prop bets for Week 5 vs. Packers
The Cincinnati Bengals face their toughest opponent of the season in Week 5, as the Green Bay Packers head to the Queen City for a showdown at Paul Brown Stadium.
A win on Sunday would certainly prove to the naysayers that this Bengals team is different than the teams we’ve grown accustomed to watching. A win over the 3-1 Packers might not solidify the Bengals as the best team in the AFC, but it’d certainly be a statement that they’re working on the right path.
Let’s take a look at three of the best prop bets for this weekend’s battle with the Packers. All odds are courtesy of WynnBET.
Cincinnati Bengals Best Prop Bets
3. Logan Wilson tackles (8.5)
While limiting Aaron Rodgers is going to be tough, limiting Aaron Jones will be just as difficult. It’s surprising that Logan Wilson‘s over/under for tackles was set at 8.5 because it feels like an easy mark for the former Wyoming linebacker to beat in this weekend’s game.
Wilson has only had less than eight tackles this season just once and it came in Week 1. With Jones likely running like a mad man this weekend, Wilson is going to be one of the leaders tasked with stopping him.
Hit the over for this prop.
Prediction: 11 tackles — Over (+115)
2. Aaron Jones rushing attempts (14.5)
As I just eluded to, this game is going to be a tough one for the Bengals run defense because of how explosive Aaron Jones is as a runner. His over/under for rushing attempts is set at 14.5 and that seems way too low for the Packers running back.
Jones only rushed the ball five times in Week 1 and that was only because his Packers were down 17-3 at the half. Since then, he’s easily surpassed 14 carries and that will likely be the case again this weekend in Paul Brown Stadium.
Prediction: 18 rushing attempts — Over (-116)
1. Joe Burrow passing touchdowns (1.5)
Last, but not least, we have Joe Burrow‘s passing touchdowns, which have been set at 1.5. Burrow has only gotten hotter in recent weeks and it’s not unfathomable to think he could have another electric performance against the Packers.
Green Bay is going to be without their best corner in Jaire Alexander and even if Kevin King plays, he isn’t exactly a great defender. Burrow should be able to get his guys into the red zone with ease and when they get down there, getting two touchdowns feels totally doable.
Burrow has thrown for at least two scores in every game this season. Doing so against a banged up Packers secondary should be a cakewalk for the former No. 1 overall pick. Also, without Joe Mixon in the game, Burrow might be passing on nearly every single play, increasing his chances of putting the ball in the end zone.
Prediction: 3 passing touchdowns (-165)
