After five weeks, the Cincinnati Bengals sit with a record of 3-2 and they don’t have many “easy” games remaining on their schedule. This week’s game against the winless Detroit Lions is one of the final games on Cincy’s schedule where the team will be favored and they need to take advantage.

The Bengals had the Packers on the ropes last week but couldn’t quite come out with the victory despite catching Mason Crosby on one of the worst days of his entire career. It was unfortunate but the stripes have to move on and now turn their attention to the Lions.

Bengals vs Lions Odds Week 6

Per WynnBET, Cincinnati enters this game as 3.5-point favorites on the road with a moneyline grab of -190. The Lions have a moneyline of +155 and the over/under is set at 47.0 points.

Bengals vs Lions Prediction Week 6

This is exactly the kind of game that the Bengals so often squander and struggle in. The Lions aren’t a good team but they’re at home and they’ve got nothing to lose. A loss for the Bengals would be inexcusable as they’re the better team and should come away with a victory.

Even though this is typically a game Cincy might let get away from them, especially with the Ravens up next on the schedule, I do predict they’ll win this game and cover. Bengals win 27-17.
