The Cincinnati Bengals square off against the currently winless Detroit Lions this Sunday after in the Motor City in what could be a much closer game than what people are anticipating.

Let’s get it out of the way — Yes, the Lions are winless but they’re not as bad as their record indicates. They’ve lost two of their five games by a “walk-off” field goal, including a record-breaking one by Justin Tucker earlier in the season. It’s been bad luck for the Lions thus far and they’re hoping to snap their winless skid against the 3-2 Bengals.

With all of that out of the way, let’s take a look at some player prop bets for this showdown between two feline teams. All odds and prop bets courtesy of WynnBET.

Cincinnati Bengals – Best Prop Bets

1. Joe Burrow Rushing Yards (7.5)

Last year saw Joe Burrow rush for 142 yards and three touchdowns and he would certainly take off with his legs when the occasion called for it. That was before Burrow was injured and had to have surgery and it’s definitely led to him not doing as much with his legs this year.

To this point, the most Burrow has rushed for in a game is 11 yards, which came last week against the Packers on that play that ended with Burrow remaining down on the field. It’s safe to say that Burrow won’t be taking off and running with the football unless it’s absolutely necessary, so this feels like a safe “under” to roll with.

Prediction: 2 rushes, 5 yards — Under (-112)

2. Ja’Marr Chase Receiving Yards (73.5)

Ja’Marr Chase has emerged as the frontrunner for Offensive Rookie of the Year and it’s not hard to see why. Not only has Chase dominated through five games so far but the rookie quarterbacks haven’t played well at all.

Last week showed that even though Burrow has top-notch weapons like Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins, his go-to guy has and always will be Chase. The former LSU wide receiver had 159 yards receiving last week while Boyd and Higgins combined for 56 yards.

The Lions secondary is pretty weak so Burrow is going to look Chase’s way frequently in this one. It could be tough to get over 73 yards with all of the other weapons on the team but if last week is any indication, I’m going with the over this week.

Prediction: 92 receiving yards — Over (-112)

3. Joe Burrow Passing Touchdowns (1.5)

The third and final player prop bet we’ll cover for this week is the second one involving Joe Burrow. The Bengals signal-caller has thrown for at least two touchdowns in every game so far this season so betting the over here feels pretty safe, especially against a weak secondary.

Prediction: 3 passing touchdowns — Over (-215)
