After a gut-wrenching loss to the Packers in Week 5, the Cincinnati Bengals hope to get back in the win column this weekend. They’ll face the winless Detroit Lions in the Motor City.

Cincinnati is 3-2 and a win is expected this weekend but nothing is guaranteed in sports. The Lions might be winless but two of their five losses have come from last-second field goals by the other team. This might seem like an “easy” game on paper but make no mistake — It won’t be a cakewalk.

Bengals Injury Report vs Lions Week 6

The following players have been ruled out for today’s game:

Offensive Guard D’Ante Smith

Joe Mixon Injury Update

After not playing in the final minutes of the Thursday Night Football game in Week 4, Joe Mixon did suit up and play last week but was limited. Samaje Perine led the team with 11 carries while Mixon had 10 but was mostly utilized in the second half and during overtime.

For this week, Mixon sat out during practice but Zac Taylor said a few days before the game that he should be “good to go” for Sunday.

Bengals vs Lions Odds, Spread, Over/Under & Betting Pick Week 6

Per WynnBET, the Bengals are 3.5-point road favorites over the winless Lions with a moneyline grab of -190 with Detroit’s moneyline set at +155. The number of points has been set at 47.0 with the over at -105 and the under set at -115.

The Lions won’t be an easy team to beat even if their record suggests otherwise. Cincinnati has struggled on offense throughout the season and with this game being on the road, it could be a much closer game than what people are expecting. With that in mind, I think the Bengals will cover, but barely. Bengals 27, Lions 23.
