This team has tremendous upside

Okay, look — I know it was against the Lions, but the Bengals hadn’t blown out a team since the 2016 season. That’s been half a decade now, so to see them really just pour it on and keep the hits coming was a good sight.

We’d seen Cincinnati kind of let their foot off the pedal a few times this season and it nearly came back to bite them in two games. This week, however, they kind of did the opposite. It was almost as if the parking brake was on for the first half of the game and then the offense realized it in the second half and went full throttle after discovering it.

We’ll see what the Bengals are truly made of after this weekend, as they’ll face the 5-1 Ravens, who have won five-straight against this team. Cincinnati has had a really tough time stopping Lamar Jackson since he entered the league, so it’ll be interesting to see if they’re able to put up any kind of a fight when they head to Baltimore next week.
