Sit ‘Em – Tee Higgins

I recommended Tee Higgins as a start against the Lions, but I was way off on that. Higgins has taken a clear back seat to both Chase and Tyler Boyd, greatly holding down his fantasy production thus far.

On the season, Higgins only has 18 catches for under 200 yards and just two touchdowns. Not good. Clear WR3 numbers.

Problem is, this offense should be good enough to support three fantasy-relevant receivers. The plodding nature of this offense has held down Higgins’ production. Chase is the deep threat, Boyd is the possession receiver, so that SHOULD leave ample opportunity for Higgins to make hay. It will at some point, but unfortunately, it hasn’t yet.

The Ravens don’t possess the best secondary, and the Bengals should be able to score on them, but the Ravens also don’t necessarily have an explosive offense outside of Lamar Jackson and Mark Andrews.

The fear here is this will be a closely contested game with a premium on ball control and time of possession, and that game plan simply doesn’t lean toward a plus game from the Bengal WR3. Pass on Higgins this week and hope for brighter days down the road.

Prediction: 3 rec, 28 yards, 0 TD
