Cincinnati Bengals Games That Could Be Flexed – Week 13

0. 0. 56. . 13. FOX. Sunday, Dec 5. 1 PM EST

The storylines write themselves with this Week 13 matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Chargers. The biggest storyline here is that Burrow and Justin Herbert both went in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft with Burrow obviously going No. 1 to the Bengals while Herbert waited until pick No. 6 before he heard his name called by the Chargers.

Herbert took the league by storm last year, winning Offensive Rookie of the Year and giving the Chargers hope for what’s sure to be a bright future. With the Chiefs not looking like a great time, the AFC West is there for the taking for Herbert and the Bolts and that’s what makes this such a compelling matchup.

Burrow vs Herbert is going to be must-see TV, just as Burrow vs Trevor Lawrence was. The good news is that the Sunday night game currently on tap for Week 13 is San Francisco vs Seattle, which will be a pretty meaningless game by that point. The 49ers have gravely disappointed and the Seahawks will be without Russell Wilson for a few more games, likely taking them out of playoff contention.

Why keep a mediocre matchup like that in the primetime slot when you can have Joey Franchise against Justin Franchise? This one needs to be flexed into the Sunday night slot.
