Cincinnati Bengals Games That Could Be Flexed – Week 18

. 1 PM EST. 0. 56. CBS. Sunday, Jan. 9. 0. 53

For the first time in NFL history, there will be a Week 18 and the Bengals’ first-ever Week 18 opponent will be the Browns. Hopefully by this point, the Bengals are leading the pack in the AFC North but there’s still a lot of football left to be played, so anything can happen between now and January 9th.

If these two teams are both vying for the top spot in the division or a playoff spot, this feels like a no-brainer to have in primetime. There isn’t a game scheduled for Sunday night yet, as the NFL waits to see which game has the biggest implication as far as playoffs go before putting something in the primetime slot.

The Bengals could be battling for a playoff spot this late in the season and the Browns could be doing the same thing. It makes perfect sense to put the two Ohio teams in that Sunday night time slot, especially if they’re fighting for first place in the division or a Wild Card spot.

The Cincinnati Bengals have proven that they deserve to be featured in primetime more this season and their 5-2 record should get them at least one more appearance under the bright lights. These five matchups have the best shot.
