Joe Burrow turned some heads during the Cincinnati Bengals‘ win on Sunday, showing the national audience what Bengal Nation has known since he was drafted — This is Joey Franchise.

With their 41-17 win over the Baltimore Ravens, the Bengals are currently the top seed in the AFC. Not just leading the AFC North, but the entire AFC. That is how far Burrow has turned this franchise around. The cellar-dwellers of the NFL for the last five years are in prime position to make a run at the playoffs.

As of Monday, the national media is finally talking about the complete turnaround of this team. The defense is playing lights out and was able to completely control the game. But, the biggest surprise has been how good the Cincinnati offense has been (which exclamations on how drafting Ja’Marr Chase did not come back to haunt the Bengals).

Cincinnati should be able to continue this momentum with a very winnable game against the Jets next, which will allow Burrow to continue putting up his top-notch numbers and putting himself and his team in prime position at the end of the season.

On Sunday, there were quite a few things that stood out about the way Burrow approached the game, and ultimately the dismantling of the Ravens’ defense. Here are my top observations on Joe Burrow.
