After a stinker of a game against the Jets, the Cincinnati Bengals try to bounce back against division and in-state rival Cleveland. Who’s on the call for this one?

With the Bengals looking more competitive this season, it’s only fitting that they receive better announcers for their matchups. The past two weeks have seen Kevin Harlan’s crew on the call for the Bengals’ games against the Ravens and Jets.

Will the trend of having great announcers continue for what’s sure to be a fun battle between the Bengals and the Browns?

Yes. Yes, it will.

This week, Bengals fans will get to listen to Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, and Tracy Wolfson during the Week 9 matchup against Cleveland.

The Bengals/Browns game has the best CBS team on the call.

Cincinnati hasn’t had this team call many of their games, but at least one comes to mind. That was in 2017 when the Bengals and Packers squared off at Lambeau. That was Romo’s first year calling games with CBS after he retired from football.

For the other AFC North games taking place this weekend, the Ravens/Vikings game will be called by Adam Amin and Mark Schlereth on FOX while the Steelers/Bears game takes place on Monday night. That means it’ll be the ESPN team of Steve Levy, Brian Griese, Louis Riddick, and Lisa Salters. I don’t know about you all, but I’ll probably flip to the ManningCast during that one.

The benefit of teams playing well is that they get to have the good broadcast teams more often than not. The Bengals are now entering their third straight week with a good team calling their game and that makes games even more enjoyable.

This game is huge for the Bengals, as it’ll be important for the team to get momentum entering the BYE week, especially after that loss to the Jets.
