Winner: Evan McPherson

Let’s touch on some winners!

Evan McPherson wasn’t the story of the game as he was early in the season but that’s because he’s been doing what’s asked of him. In this blowout defeat, the rookie kicker out of Florida knocked through the only field goal he was asked to attempt while also connecting on the lone extra-point attempt he took the field for.

You know it was slim pickin’s when McPherson was named a winner despite making just two total kicks. Yeah, it was one of those days, folks.

Winner: Tee Higgins

We’re finally starting to see Tee Higgins heat up after a slow start to the season. He finished the blowout loss with six catches for 78 yards with a long of 20 yards. It wasn’t a game-changing kind of day for Higgins but he was one of the few bright spots from Cincinnati’s roster on Sunday.

Winner: Joe Mixon

While the run game has been very hit or miss, it hasn’t been on Joe Mixon. He finished the day with 13 carries for 64 yards and two scores with his legs. The two touchdown runs probably made him a popular player in fantasy football this week but he also made it count as a receiver, grabbing five catches for 46 yards.

It’s scary to think how badly this game could have looked without Mixon in the backfield.
