As mentioned on the Darious Williams entry, the Bengals need a cornerback or two or three this offseason and one of the best available in free agency will be Kyle Fuller of the Broncos. The Virginia Tech cornerback turns 30 this February and is still playing really good football.

Prior to the trade deadline, the Broncos were reportedly trying to deal Fuller and I wanted the Bengals to inquire about him. The reasoning for that was that Waynes isn’t getting the job done and Apple has been a detriment to the secondary.

While Cincinnati added Tre Flowers and Vernon Hargreaves recently, we have no idea what to expect from them in Bengals uniforms. Fuller has been a consistently good player during his time in the league and he’s still relatively young.

If the Bengals stay aggressive again this offseason, Kyle Fuller is someone they need to make sure they get signed.

The Bengals brought on a lot of big names in free agency last year and while it hasn’t been perfect so far, the defense has shown improvement. If they continue to put their foot on the gas this spring, these five free agents would undoubtedly make the Cincinnati Bengals defense better.
