Defensive MVP: Sam Hubbard

The defense played very solid and had a bounce-back game that was much needed, led by Sam Hubbard and Trey Hendrickson. Hendrickson did have a great game and had the strip sack-fumble, but with Hubbard picking it up and having the sack on the play before that, he is deserving of the weekly MVP.

Hubbard also made one of the best defensive plays when he stopped the running back in the backfield for a critical loss of yards in the second half. Hubbard showed his dominance all game. He ended the game with three tackles, two assisted tackles, one sack, and one fumble recovery.

If the Bengals front seven can continue to dominate upfront and make plays in the run and passing game, it will only lead to positive outcomes for the defense, which struggled two weeks prior.
